Ford Ranger has orange peel
I bought a ford ranger on the while on the showroom I noticed the cubbie hole was not closing ,I showed the salesman he say he would sort it out at a later stage .After 3 weeks went pass no call from the dealer I call in to find out about the cubbie hole I was told the salesman had resigned.I also noticed the inside of the petrol flip has new painted and has a paint drip and the tailgate has orange peel .The tail gate is darker the the bin colour i went ro speak to the manager of new car sales (Stacey) she told me all the rangers come with orange peel I ask her to show me on the vechiles on the showroom she later says maybe my vechile went in for a respray. After getting no answers from Stacey I went to the principal dealer (Brenton Cole) and explained my problems he confirms with me that the painting of the petrol flip was done by the people who installed the canopy. I then went to the canopy company which they confirmed with a letter stating they did not paint the petrol flip I later took the vechile for a AA test which confirms my findings that the vechile has been worked on.I then took the letter from the Canopy Company and my AA report to Mr Brenton Cole and was told I have nothing to proof to him he has a process to carry and I must wait for Ford paint tech who would b available in three weeks time pls advise .
