Ford Ranger GEARBOX issues

To whom this may concern

I bought a Ford Ranger 2017 model from Ford Krugersdorp on 16FEB 2018

Since then the vehicle has been in for its gearbox issues twice and they cannot fix the issue with the vehicle

I paid R330 000 for the vehicle and requested that they do a trade in on another vehicle as they cannot find the issue with the current vehicle and Its costing me more money as the issue is causing the vehicle to be high on fuel consumption

The vehicle was first sent in to ford 2 week prior to having the vehicle for the high fuel consumption, they reset the computer and did a software update,

I then drove the vehicle for some time not knowing that there was an issue with the gearbox and then my brother in law also bought the same model as mine a 2.2 auto ranger, after driving with his vehicle I immediately knew something is wrong with mine, so I sent it in again in the month of Mei for the gearbox issue, Again they did software updates and sent the vehicle back to me.

I drove the vehicle for another 3 weeks before I could send it in again so I sent it back in for the gearbox issue 28 June and they had the vehicle until 03 July, they again made software changes on the vehicle, as soon as I drove the vehicle out of the dealership I could feel that the issue has still not been resolved.

I would like for this vehicle to be taken back by ford and for them to settle the account so I can buy another vehicle that doesn’t have issues.

I will trade in for a ecosport 2018 titanium

Please assist me with this case.
