Ford midrange ignorance

I bought Hyundai i20 at Ford/Haval midrand November. Upon driving it for few weeks I noticed the reverse gear problem. I don’t drive as I am working from home so when I drive I struggle to put it on reverse I have to start with other gears first until it gets to reverse. I raised the issue with Simba in the 14 December not even a month after buying. He asked to bring the car I did. They couldn’t find the fault. I then explained that yes it doesn’t happen all the time but they just keep that car for few days and drive it then they will see the problem. He promised to find out from Hyundai if they had that problem. I waited until the school closes to advise them to come fetch the car which was on the 18th they failed to do so instead promised but never showed up. Am not happy as gears to repair are expensive. I took it to Hyundai and I was told that the manager also drive Hyundai and it has similar problem but when they check they can’t find the issue. I also explained that they have to drive the car regularly to see the problem. Can they look at the car Simba and his crew or find me another car that has not problems
