Ford Lydenburg Incompetence
I have hear stories of Ford Lydenburg's poor service delivery. Even when my Mother in Law had a series of bad experiences with Ford Lydenburg's service I was not completely convinced. But, at last, my turn to experience Ford Lydenburg's incompetency was apparently scheduled in my future. Took the car in for a drive train warning, paid more than R 5 000 to solve the problem. The car was returned as repaired and in safe state. Approximately 30 km the drive train light went on again and I recommended to the ladies driver to drive to Dullstroom which is the nearest town at that stage as it was almost dark. The ex day I phoned the client representative to request a mechanic to attend to the problem. Was informed that it is to expensive and that I had to return the car myself. I was only in a position to do so about two weeks later. A new problem was identified which was existing when they declared the care repaired the first time. I am now charged a second time for over R 5000 to repair the problem. Brings me to the questions - was the first problem fixed really the problem. When I did not opt to have the care repaired by them they asked me to pay a diagnostic fee. Terrible - I have to pay twice because they are to *********** to fix the problem the very first time
