FORD: LIES & DECEIT

If I could give Ford minus stars...i would! I have completely and utterly lost all confidence and faith in Ford. I am disgusted with their prices, i am disgusted with their customer service, their inability to assist and their complete lack of taking responsibility for the faulty manufacturing of their vehicles. I warn everyone to stay as far away from Ford cars as you can. I have a Ford Fiesta Eco-boost 1 liter. It will save you petrol they say...it has power they say...it is a reliable car they say...I call BULL's#@%!!!! I have not even hit 100 000km on my odometer and my engine just cut out...I have spoken to so many people who have experienced exactly the same problem with their cars. A small engine with a turbo is a recipe for disaster. And...better yet, Ford acknowledge the existing problem on their website...saying they'll replace the car, they'll cover the cost of repair...oh...but when it just falls out of warantee...it is no longer Fords problem?? They relinquish any and all responsibility...attributing it to the way a person drives. It is such bulls'@#$%. I went for all my services, and I don't drive like a maniac!! But when your car's engine just cuts out in the middle of the highway...no warning light prior to the cutting-out...and you have not even reached 100 000km on the clock? Who in their right mind would accept that?...this shows Fords true colours. On top of this...my piston rings had been fixed about 3months ago too...because they had broken. Now this...my engine just cutting out? It is ridiculous. And Ford don't replace parts for these tiny engines...oh no...they replace entire engines instead...racking up an extraordinary bill that I have no way of paying for. Apparently in the United States they replace your car, as they explicitly say on the Ford website that there is a fault in the make and model of my car; concerning overheating & problems with the engine...yet, in South Africa...Ford cannot be bothered. I am sick to my stomach, I am furious, it is truly disgusting and I am truly disappointed. I want everyone to know about this, so that there are less unsuspecting victims in the future. When it comes to the customer...all measures should be taken to ensure the safety and security of the driver...I will never ever in my life suggest Ford to anybody ever again. Don't do it to yourself.
