Ford Kuga Tyre issue
Ford Kuga purchased at Eagle Ford February 2013.Started experiencing severe humming noise at around 30,000km on the clock. Eagle Ford was consulted and they said it was coming from uneven wear on the tyre and must consult Ford SA.I took the vehicle to Goodyear \Tyre Manufacturer"for an opinion. Goodyear discovered flat spots on all the tyres. They wrote a report stating that the vehicle was to blame for the flat spots on the tyres. Goodyear suggested that I also get an independent report from a tyre fitment centre. I consulted Tiger Wheel and tyre and they found the same thing and also found the alignment to be within limits.

I sent these reports to Ford South Africa and asked if they would replace the tyres? They rep**** that its the clients obligation to align tyres and are not responsible? In the mean time the car was serviced and the service centre \""Eagle Ford\"" found that all the shock absorbers to be worn and they replaced them under warranty. The service centre said that the shocks caused the flat spots on the tyres.

Ford SA remains adamant that they wont replace the tyres?"""
