Ford Kuga 2.0 TDCI Titanium

<p>To whom it may concern:</p> <p> </p> <p>A Ford Kuga 2.0 TDCi Titanium A.W.D was bought from Daly Ford on 01.04.2015.</p> <p> </p> <p>As from day 1 driving this vehicle a so called “glug glug” sound as the movement forwards and backwards of the diesel in the tank is of big frustration.</p> <p> </p> <p>After several complaints and a mechanic of Daly Ford sitting in the back of the vehicle whilst driving, and then confirming that it was the noise of the fuel moving making this noise. The diesel tank was replaced on 03.09.2015 – see copy attached herewith.</p> <p> </p> <p>After the above named replacement, the vehicle is in exactly the same state and the “glug-glug” noise is of high frustration driving the vehicle.</p> <p> </p> <p>On 25th January 2016, the vehicle is again taken to Daly Ford. The answer from Daly Ford which does not solve the problem attached herewith.</p> <p> </p> <p>Upon collection of the vehicle, Estelle Widd, Service Adisor, Confirms to me that, just earlier, another owner was complaining about the the same so called “glug-glug” noise.</p> <p> </p> <p>After only 6931km in a year’s time, t.i 577km per month, the embarresment of being asked by a passenger friend, “what noise is coming from the back of your car?”</p> <p> </p> <p>The vehicle was then on my my feeling of no where to go, taken to the AA in Vereeniging. The report (06.09.2016) is confirming the problem, attached herewith.</p> <p> </p> <p>On Receiving this AA report and sending it to Customer Complaints, by Estelle Widd, it was confirmed that all Ford Kugas makes a “glug-glug” sound when full. Report from technical Dept attached herewith.</p> <p> </p> <p>If I had known this, i would have never considered buying a Ford Kuga with a “glug-glug” sound. Customer Service does not state , is it from full till half. Mine is from full till empty.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Finally attached herewith conversation between myself and Emil Pitout, Sales Manager of Daly Ford confirming that the engineers of Ford SA are looking into the problem, but up to date we have no solution.</p> <p> </p> <p>On 15 Sep 2016:</p> <p>A letter from Estelle Wiid stating that she does not know what to say about the noise and wish that she could do something about the problem.</p> <p> </p> <p>Following my answer on 19 Sept:</p> <p> </p> <p>With my frustration of almost 2 years and no effort or a hope of a solution, I can with the Kuga’s “burning fiasco” in mind, without a doubt say that Ford SA just turns a deaf ear to their problems.</p> <p> </p> <p>Can you please assist me.</p> <p>Thank you</p> <p> </p> <p>Desperate</p> <p>Sanet van Wyk</p>
