Ford Kuga 1.6 Ecosboost

<p>Hi,</p> <p>My Sister owns the above vehicle. Yes the ones that are self combusting! She has been in correspondence with Ford for the last month,voicing the obvious concerns ,as reported in the media and was told to bring the vehicle in for a "diagnostics" and maintenance check. She was informed that ,after the check,there were indeed hairline cracks in the coolant system,which were repaired. However ,as the many cases reported this was the scenario with numerous vehicles that had the same problem and yet still spontaneously combusted even after being checked.</p> <p>In the last 3 days 3 more such models have caught fire. What is considered sufficient "Data" to determine a full recall is necessary?</p> <p> </p> <p>She refuses to drive the vehicle as it clearly presents a possible life threat to her and her son</p> <p>What is to be done?</p> <p>Please will other consumers who have experienced the same or similar problems PLEASE speak up so that we may put the HEAT back on Ford! This is outrageous!</p>
