Ford.. Is this how you really Do Business???

We bought a Ford Focus 1.0 Eco-Boost in October 2019. We were advised by the dealer the car goes to service on 20 Km interval and the next service is at 60 000. We drove the car and at 59K+ Km around March 2020 we made a booking for a service. We were advised by Ford in Midrand that the car was supposed to be serviced in November 2019. They spoke to Ford SA aand the service claim was paid by ford. In september the car gave us an Error... "Transmission Malfunction, Service Now"

16 Sept. We took the car to CMH Kempster Ford in Pretoria, they processed a warranty claim which ford approved.

23 Sept i collected the car which was fixed by the warranty.... I couldnt even reach Home the same error Popped up again.

25 Sept called CMH Kempster Ford they advise i return the car on Monday

28 Sept. I returned the car to CMH Kempster Ford in Pretoria, Coincidentaly it was the day the car warranty was expiring. I asked if it wont be the problem but service consultant told me as long as the Job card is opened the car will still be covered.

19 Oct. I picked up the car, test drove it with their technician everything seem to be in order. 20th Oct My wife drove the car to work about 60KM on the road error Popped up "Transmission Malfunction, Service Now"

21 Oct till today the car was Sent back to Kempster Ford.

04 Dec 2020. Kempster Ford called and said the car Gearbox is over heating and they tried to apply for Goodwill from Ford and it was declined, we need to fork out a minimun of R39 000.00 to get our our car back. Reaon for decline is the service history of the Car.

Now i have few Question to Both Ford SA and CMH Kempster Ford. 1. When ford paid the warranty claim the first time i took the car was the service history not the problem or its only a problem because now the bill is a bit high?

2. My car spent almost 3 Month at Ford Now and from my observation it wasnt diagnosed correctly the first time when it was fully covered by the warranty, which approved the claim, so its safe to Assume if CMH Kempster Ford properly diagnosed the car it was going to be paid for. Now who has to take ownership?

3. Just a google search shows that ford is all aware of the transmission issue in these cars, is this how all the clients are treated?

The lady at CMH Kempster Ford Pretoria told me according to her my car has been fixed twice and i was appalled especially when she confirmed after fixing it twice it has only managed to clock 169 KM in 3 Months... is this what you call fixing at Ford?

The only thing im appreciative of from CMH Pretoria is that they provided a loan vehicle during all these times and i hope we will resolve this sooner and i get my car back. Fixed for real this time
