Ford Figo overheating issue

Hi all

This hasa been sent to few dealerships as well ... but it is also a complaint I'd like to make public to get this resolved. Any help or direction will be appreciated.

So this is a real problem ... I know you guys, at Paul Maher Auto, must've tried the best in trying to resolve this but to be honest it hasn't helped much and resulted in more of an expense and further problems than anything else. I would like to escalate this please!

Here is the history ...

In Jun 2011 I got the Ford Figo 1.4 Trend brand new from McCarthy Ford/Mazda The Glen
In Oct 2013 There was a recall for a rear twist beam replacement which was resolved at the The Glen Ford
It has been serviced regularly as scheduled every 20k kms at either The Glen Ford, Fury Ford or Paul Maher Auto (PMA).
in Aug 2013 there has been an overheating issue looked into by The Glen Ford
In Oct 2015, there was an overheating issue (replacing the fan resistor and low speed relay) that was check with the cambelt replacement by PMA
In Apr 2016 it was looked at again by PMA for overheating
In Sept 2016 it as looked at once again by PMA for overheating
In Feb 2017 it was looked at again (replacing the thermostat hose heater inlet and overflow pipe) by PMA for overheating

Last night (2 days after the last overheating "fix" that costed just under R3k) my brother in law drove the car with my mum and grandmum about 25km away from home, in no traffic at all, and reached the destination with an overheated car and a smoking engine when checking the coolant. Very risky! I got someone to help to tow it back home and had to go fetch them late at night as driving it seems much big a risk!

Please can you get the car collected and have it looked at and fixed ... I cannot risk starting it. And provide a courtesy car in the meanwhile ...

Surely all services/vehicle fixes should arrange for courtesy cars regardless the situation and result in a 100% fix for the long run too ... i understand that the Kuga recalls are adding pressure too.

I do not expect any more costs on this as it does seem a real recursive issue that cannot be wear and tear related ... Please advise on what we can do? My ideal is that Ford arranges to resolve the car completely and arrange a courtesy car as well ... OR even better replace the car with a new one. :)

I have been very happy with my car, Ford and the service I've been receiving but that seems to be changing because of this.

Let me know ASAP

Thanks
