Ford Figo Factory Radio Code

I purchased a Ford Figo back in January 2014. Since then I have had many issues with the vehicle. My vehicle warranty is now expired. Like other Vehicle Companies that normally call when warranty is about to expire for an extension, Ford SA has never.

I am really disappointed with the service I have received from Ford SA as a Company.

Yesterday, my Battery had died and I had to replace it with a new one. Now the Factory fitted Radio is asking for a Code. I have checked every manual, service book, the cubby for a sticker, etc. There is no code in anything that was given to me when I purchased the vehicle. I called in to Ford Umgeni spoke to a service advisor and they tell me, that I should have brought the vehicle in to have the battery changed so this problem would not have occured. I must make a booking and they will charge me R400 for the code. My car was dead, could not start, so I had to change the battery. This is so unfare and disappointing. It was the Salesman's fault that the Radio code was not given to me upon delivery of the vehicle. It had been a very bad experience having owned this car.

Thank You so much for this experience Ford. I will never buy another Ford ever again.
