Ford Ecoboost breaks and Engine failure

My 2017 Ford Focus 1.0 Ecoboost is now a non-runner. 90 000km. Driving n the high-way, the oil light came on then the engine light came on, I had no (zero, nothing, none) breaks and when I finally manage to pull over, the engine just died and is now not turning over anymore. All of this in a very small timeframe. This is apparently a know issue with thousands of vehicles with the Ecoboost engine... Unfortunately no recalls in South Africa, although we have the same engines as USA in our cars and their cars in USA are being recalled for the same problem. This is really not on Ford South Africa. At least let people know that there are a potential problem with the car, especially if you know what happens after 90 000km with these wet belts. Why would Ford South Africa just keep quiet? USA announced the recall 2 weeks ago already.
