Ford cannot put their money where their mouth lies

<p>I am the not so proud owner of a Ford Ranger T6 3.2 Diesel Auto purchased in 2013 and at end April 2016 after only 108000 km's the engine had to be replaced due to a valve that broke (apiece of the exhaust valve broke of and damaged the no 2 piston and cylider head </p> <p> Ford repalced the enginand i was told that they would extend the warrantee and after phoning Ford SA I was told that they will not extend the warrantee- the person Nelson who I spoke to said that Ishould be happy that they replaced the engine and that the new engin might give me a lot of km's- Wow</p> <p>I had the car serviced at the correct service intervals and this vehicle was very well looked after I just bdon't feel comfortable with the fact that the engine only lasted 108000 km's is that a trend </p> <p>Unklike my Toyota's which run under severe condition give on average over 400000 km's </p> <p>Maybe I should make a huge sign on my vehicle warning potential buyers of Fords Rangers that they are taking a risk in buying such a vehicle and what type of service you can expect from Ford SA. anyone wanting info can phone me on *** </p>
