FORD BRITS customer service sucks
I took my Ford Fiesta for service in FORD BRUMA Eastgate as it had reached it's 20k's, I took it as instructed & the service at BRUMA was exceptional, lady told me that the brakes are still fine nd will need to be replaced on the next service, okay. I have now almost reached 40k's & as procedures go & because I've relocated, I book my car for service here in FORD BRITS, they requested the VIN numbers & many things which I did not provide when I was given service at BRUMA. Now the juicy details come, apparently the car was serviced before I bought it at 13k's, y?, I don't know and really don't care cos I just bought the car, apparently FORD BRUMA was not supposed to service the car, the car was only supposed to be serviced when it reaches 33ks, again, how was I supposed to know, and yeah here's the Kicker, I am being penalized apparently 25% of whatever for taking my car too early to BRUMA & too Late to Brits because the car was supposed to be serviced at 33ks, & I'm requested to pay over R2500 for the Brakes, & any amount I'm gonna be charged will amount to the 25% penalty that I incurred due to the service I had no Idea about, sure maybe FORD BRUMA made a mistake by not checking & should've advised me to come back at 33k's but I'm mostly disgusted by how Ford Brits is dealing with this whole thing, I'm a new driver, this is my very first car, I don't like the way I'm treated, they didn't even tell me what's the next step, where to from here, I was just dismissed & told I'm penalized, I'd rather opt for something else if this is the service, treatment that I'll have.
