Ford - Bad product, bad customer service
The worst decision I've ever made was to get a Ford.
I purchased it in March 2015. The first weekend with my new car the excitement was instantaneously ended when I broke down on the N4. The car had approximately 350 km on the clock. It turned out that one of the pistons was misfiring. I requested that they give me a new car, but this could not be done. Instead, they replaced the engine. The replacing of the engine took 2 and a half weeks.
This car is less than a year old and now and once again it was giving me problems on the 29th of January 2016 when I noticed the car heating up. I took it to Ford Eagle corner to have the water pump seal replaced. This took 9 days. They couldn't give me a courtesy car, because there weren't any available. This is poor service. Ford refused to reimburse me for the significant transport costs that I have incurred in this time. They said that they pre-approve rental cars if the part that the car needs isn't available in the country. How do they pre-approve rentals if they don't know which part my car needs on the day I take it in?
If you buy a faulty product from them you will be left to cover any additional costs if it breaks. Pathetic Service
