FORD
I bought a Ford Eco Sport at the end of June 2022 In November the turbo had to be replaced ( Ford Brits) In January 2023 the turbo had to be replaced again After it was sent to the dealer, it was decided the the whole engine had to be replaced, with only +- 13 000 km on (Ford Thabazimbi) During the engine replacement, the dealer could have given me much better service, it was actually terrible ( Thabazimbi) A representative of Ford SA said that they reserve the right to fix the vehicle, as I demanded a buy back. And they are "prepared" to replace the engine, so must I now be happy that they are willing to do that?
With no success I reached out to the dealer who sold me the vehicle ( Brits). to my surprise I will be losing R120 000 with what they are prepared to offer me. And I was told to drive the vehicle a month or two longer, and I might get a better price. I advised them to speak to the owner as this is unacceptable, I am still waiting for feedback, 3 weeks later
Currently I am driving a vehicle, that i deem unreliable and it feels like it will break again at any moment
Aren't you supposed to feel comfortable, relaxed and not worried when driving your vehicle.
I now understand why there are so many jokes about FORD, as in my eyes they are all true
I will never recommend FORD to anyone based on my experiences.
