Foctory defult

I took delivery of my Ford Terrority on 27 January 2026 and reported defects almost immediately. These included scratches on body panels and a persistent steering/drivability issue where the vehicle pulled left and right. Despite multiple visits to Ford Germiston during February, March and April, the issues were not resolved.

An independent fitment centre subsequently identified alignment concerns and a ride-height discrepancy between the left and right sides of the vehicle, suggesting a possible manufacturing defect. These concerns were reported to Ford South Africa.

Ford later discussed replacement and settlement options. However, the replacement vehicle presented to me was not acceptable, and a proposed settlement of my finance account was never implemented despite written communication.

The vehicle was involved in a rear-end collision on 1 July 2026, several months after the original defect complaints had already been lodged and documented. The accident does not change the fact that the defects existed from the date of delivery and were repeatedly reported.

I am requesting a fair resolution taking into account the documented history of defects, unsuccessful repair attempts, and commitments previously made by Ford.
