Faulty radio
Good Morning
My name is Kenneth Makhado. I own a Ford Figo which I bought in September 2015 at the Ford dealership in Louis Trichardt
I have had 5 radios replaced (currently on the 6th radio) because the Bluetooth keeps on malfunctioning. Initially, the Ford dealership at the Glen told me that my iPhone was the problem because such cars are not meant to connect to iPhones and they suggested I get a different phone. This made no sense to me, but I heeded the advice and got a Samsung as I was due for an upgrade. Still, with Samsung, I experienced similar problems.
The sixth radio that I have been given has no issues with the Bluetooth as yet, but recently it cannot seem to find any of the FM frequencies.
This is really frustrating because I have to keep on driving to the Ford dealership in order to book it for the radio to be replaced.
My main concern is that what will happen when the warranty expires and this problem keeps arising? Will I have to foot the bill for a new radio each time?
