Faulty oil pump Ford Focus 2018

FORD Focus 2018 Oil pump issue. In January 2023 Ford had put a statement out recalling all Ford focus vehicles manufactured in 2016 to 2018 as they picked up faulty oil pump issues. Last week Wednesday 7th of Feb 2023my oil pump packed up and all the symptoms the Statement put out by Ford had happened to me. I went to Ford today the 12th of February 2023 and they advised based on my VIN number I don't qualify for the recall. This is strange as all issues experienced happened to my vehicle yet Ford is declining to assist. They cannot state year model affected and then select which brands or models they want to attend too. I am sure other owners have experienced the same issue and are being pushed aside. Total disregard by Ford to assist. If I could give negative stars I definitely would have given -5stars.
