Faulty Clutch
I bought a brand new Ford Kuga 1.6 Ambient in September 2013. In September 2015 as I was driving from East London to Mthatha I felt that there was something wrong with the car as it was difficult to change the gears. The vehicle had no power and I saw some smoke coming out. I stopped the car on N2. I phoned Eastern Cape Motors who gave me the number to phone to be towed. The vehicle was towed to the Dealership. I was told that they will send the photos of the gearbox to the place I am not sure of to check what the damage was. I was told that the clutch had burnt and I had to pay +- R20 000 . I was so surprised by the fact that I thought that by buying the new vehicle I was guaranteed that I will always reach my destination. The vehicle is 36000km. I am so disappointed and not willing to pay such a huge amount for what I see is a manufacturer's fault.

Two weeks before the incident a certain lady came to me saying she had a clutch problem with the same car that she bought in March 2013.
