False information provided upon purchase of car
I am supposed to fetch my 2018 demo Fiesta tomorrow. The initial advertisment I had enquired about last week Friday(8th of June 2018) had a car with a mileage of 6500km a 2018 model.I enquired about it and started the process of purchasing the car.A few days after my enquiry i was told the mileage on the ad was a "mistake" and had doubled to 13****m.I chose not to let that stop me from purchasing the vehicle as Ford is such a reputable company.I deposited the money and everything was set for me to pick the car up.Its Friday today the 15th of June 2018.I am supposed to go and pick my car up tomorrow.I only recieved a call today telling me that they are sorry they dont know how they "missed" that the car is not a 2018 model but a 2017 and quite frankly the lady I have been dealing with didnt sound sorry at all.Not only have I made commitments with regards to getting an insurance for the car but my credit score has been messed up.A great inconvenience. What happened to being professional when representing multinational companies. This i would expect to get from these small time dealers.
