False Information on Fuel Consumption on Ford Website

I have recently purchased a Brand New Ford Ranger 2.2 TDCI Auto Double Cab.

When purchashing a brand new vehicle, you can physically check a vehicle out but on certain things (like fuel consumption), you will have to rely on the manufacturers specifications.

According to Ford, my vehicle should be performing at 7.7 liters per 100 km. However, my vehicle is around 11-12 liters per 100km. It is about 45% - 50% higher than what Ford says the vehicle should perform at. I am getting round about ****m on a 80 liter tank - cost me about R 6k for 2,500km.

I contacted Ford and was supposed to be assisted by Lucindy Ferreira |Customer Relations Case Manager.

I tried to follow up with emails - but she does not respond. That's the worst service ever. When you purchase a vehicle over R400k, you expect a decent customer care.

Totally disgusted with Ford. They are ready to take your money but offers no customer service.

DON'T RELY ON FORD SPECIFICATIONS!!!! THEY ARE INCORRECT.
