False diagnostic done and still I had to pay

I want to give CMH Kempster Ford Pretoria North Zero stars, I am very upset regarding a incident. I have bought 4x Brand New Ford vehicles in the last 8 to 10 years and I am so upset I am looking into changing to a different car company and selling my Ford EchoSport and Ranger. I asked if they could do a diagnostic on my EchoSport as the engine light was not going off (Not Even 2months after they serviced my Car). I was told it will cost about R1200, I said that is fine. They phone me and say that the diagnostic shows that my Turbo has Blown and it will cost R20,000 minimum to fix as they need to replace the complete Turbo system, pipes and nuts and bolts (I have the Quote they gave me), I declined the quote, collected my car and payed the R1200 for the diagnostic they did.

I had the Turbo tested at a specialist and all I can say is CMH Kempster Ford Pretoria North were 1000% wrong, there was nothing wrong with my Turbo, the “Boost Control Valve” was faulty, the part only cost R3000 at any Ford Agent, 5min later my car was running 100% with not 1 problem and the engine light went off by itself.

Funny thing is, this “Boost Control Valve” was not even listed on the R20 000 quote given to me by CMH Kempster Ford Pretoria North, so they would have replaced the full Turbo system and then it still would have been faulty and then tell me an extra R3000 is required as something els was ALSO faulty and my car would have costed me R24 200 in total.

Please explain to me why I paid for a diagnostic test that nobody at CMH Kempster Ford Pretoria North knew how to do and just did a thumb suck, the hell with the client.

This is ***** and how many other clients have paid for repairs on cars that was not required, the staff at CMH Kempster Ford Pretoria North is *********** and have no clue what they doing and don’t want to go that extra mile to help their clients, lets just replace the full engine the client is paying.
