Ecosport fuel consumption

I have purchased a ecosport 1l turbo in March this year. I especially purchased this car for the promised fuel consumption. I soon realized that the. Fuel consumption is far from what was promised. My car's fuel consumption is even worse than my husband's Wikdtrak. I took the car to Action Ford in Krugersdorp and they then loaded new software to see if there would be an improvement. There was no improvement. I took it back. They advised me to fill up the car three times and then they will have more data to send to Ford South Africa to see if there is something else wrong with the car. I did that and then contacted Action Ford Krugersdorp again. More than a week passed and they did not contact me. I went to the dealership and had a meeting with Ian, Patrick and another consultant. I re-explained my concern, whereupon they asked me to give proof of fuel purchases! I found that annoying, because why would they not trust me in this regard? They phoned me yesterday and fetched my car. Ian phoned me today and said that they have reset the software and that the fuel consumption is now 7l/ 100km. I asked him if this whole matter was reported to Ford South Africa, whereupon he rep**** that it is not necessary, because they will send me proof. I insisted on this matter to be reported to Ford Sout Africa. They sent my car back without proof of the matter reported to Ford South Africa. On the invoice they sent me they report the fuel consumption a s7, 9 l /100 km. I insist on the matter being reported, as I perceive it as false advertising.
