Disgusting Service from BB MENLYN FORD

BB Menlyn Ford had worked out a deal on a new Ford Ranger for me on condition that they would Trade In my old Ford Ranger which I had purchased second hand.

I had purchased the vehicle second hand and I did disclose to the salesman, Werner Kruger, that the vehicle looks like it was resprayed and that the left fender looked like it was slightly higher than it should be.

They had agreed to trade in the vehicle anyways.

On 18/07/2017 they had delivered the new vehicle to me. They had come and picked up the old Ford Ranger and took it away. At this point I felt that everything is ok.

Today 19/07/2017 the new car sales manager, Weber Ehlers, called me with a high pitched voice. He basically called me a **** and I was disgusted. I have emails stating that I have disclosed everything to the company. If the saleman didn't discuss it with his manager, it is not my fault. The sales manager also said that I didn't declare to him that there were problems under the bakkie. I am an accountant - I don't go under the bakkie.

Now the sales manager wants me to pay R50k more. That is totally ridiculous.

BB Menlyn Ford had agreed to trade in the bakkie and retracted after the new vehicle was delivered. They signed an agreement and went against their word. If they wanted to give me a Trade In value, the right thing to do was inspect the vehicle before agreeing to any figures - which they failed to do.

Everything was honestly disclosed to BB MENLYN FORD. I did not hide any information that I was aware off.

I have also ordered extras for the vehicle. Who is going to pay for that? I'm also now paying for insurance on two vehicles.

Disgusting service from BB MENLYN FORD
