It was in December 2016 my husband Roelf Smit traded in a Ford Everest for a Ford Ranger 3.2 from Ford Nelspruit. There was an installment due to be refunded to us in the amount of R13082.39. On the 11th January 2017 an amount of R11 098.34 was only refunded, leaving an amount of R1 984.05 still due. I contacted the Nelspruit branch and made them aware of the short payment due to us.
Since January 2017, I have sent numerous emails directly to the sales lady Louise Meintjies, with no response. Numerous telephone calls were also made and promises to come back to me with a response never happened.
Round about the 21st February 2018, I was told that a certain Righardt at Nelspruit branch had been dealing with the matter. I contacted him also on numerous occassions and to date hereof promises and promises to call me back. I also sent him emails, no response. I continually get told that they will call me back.
On the 16th April 2018, I called Righardt again and he told me Mrs Meintjies will call. She did call and again promised to call me back with positive details. Today is the 26th April 2018 - 9 days later and no response.
My husband has bought 4 vehicles from this branch to the value of millions.
It is not the amount due to us, it has become a matter of principal. I feel that we are owed interest on this outstanding amount as it is long overdue.
We have been dealt with in a disgusting manner and therefore place this complaint in hand. Thanking you
