Defective Ford fusion
I bought a brand new Ford fusion in October 2015 from Ford Pinetown. It was discovered that the car didn't come with some features it was marketed with. It took me 3.5 months to fight for compensation for this false marketing. Eventually Ford reimbursed me for one of the missing features.

About 20 January 2016, the car was giving problems with its brakes which were engaging automatically! I took it to Ford Pietermaritzburg. It has been about 5 times already that they have told me the car was repaired, but when I went to fetch it, I found that it still had the problem.
I insisted that the car is defective and according to section 56 of the consumer protection act, I requested a replacement. Then Ford Pietermaritzburg claimed they never sold me a defective car and that I should contact Ford Pinetown.Ford Pinetown kept delaying with no commitment whatsoever to replace the car. It reached a point where they eventually offered a trade in for my car but it was going to cost me an additional R90K. In effect, they were just trying to give me a trade in for my car for a new car instead of issuing me with a replacement car without penalty as per CPA. They are not complying with CPA!
