Continuous engine misfire issues with Ford Focus Ecoboost 1.5l 2017 model

I bought the car as a demo in July 18 from a Ford dealership with 22,000 km’s. In Sept 19 I experienced the first misfire, which was repaired by replacing the spark plug. In Nov 19 the same thing happened again and was repaired by performing an engine sub-assembly. The car was at the dealer for almost 3 months for this and I received the car back in Jan 20 . Another misfire again in June 20, repaired by replacing the spark plug again. It’s Aug and yet another misfire after only 130km after the previous repair. I am beyond disappointed with Ford. Ford says I need to speak to the dealer to buy the car back (because I no longer want it). The dealer says he can only trade it in (as if I want another Ford and as if I can afford another car, the dealer says the only other option is that I sell the car privately which I absolutely cannot do knowing the car is faulty! Ford basically told me all they will do is continue fixing it under warranty and referred me to the Motor Industry Ombudsman. The car only has 49,000 km’s! Clearly this car will continue having issues and I am beyond frustrated with Ford’s poor response to me and lack of solutions. I will never buy a Ford again and I will continue to tell people about my bad experience. Ford doesn’t care about their brand, so why should I? It’s shocking that you have to revert to social media and public complaints to warn people against similar experiences. I have been patient and hoped for the best but I have lost complete faith in the Ford brand and their ability to fix the issues on their own product.
