Complain about Ford PMB BRANCH
I am very frustrated with the way Ford in Pietermaritzburg Branch have neglected my car. The service there made me ask myself if they are doing that because I'm a person of color. My husband did write about our complaints and nothing was really done instead when we went to pick it up it in worse condition and even has a dent.
We took our car for service as we always service with th . Two weeks after the serving we had funny noise sounding like an aeroplanes taking off. We called and they said they were fully booked a d gave us a date. We the went to them and they manage to get us an early date. We left our car on the 21st of December 2021 for them to diagnose and they called us and said it was to do with shield and bolts. They claimed for us since when we bought the car we took extended warranty however they our claim was declined. The insurer said the engine numbers were not matching and when we went go the dealership and spoke to Jeff who is in finance department and was the one who did all the paperwork with us when we bought the car. He gave us an attitude and later he saw his mistake coz he submitted a wrong engine no. They still declined and told us we have to pay R8500 & we took it further...3 Weeks later they called and say they are sorry they misdiagnosed our car. The problem was not shield and bolt but bearings. So I asked myself what if we paid the R8500 they quoted us for something they said was a mistake. They said they fired the guy who misdiagnosed the car yet the guy is still there.
They then told us to come and fetch the car as it was ready according to them. We then went there on Friday the 21st of January 2022.They gave us the keys and told us how sorry they were. We didn't even drive our car , we decided to ask the guy who works there to evaluate it so that we can sell it. When the guy finished assessing he said the car had engine light warning . We went and saw and fully check the car and that were saw that it even had dent on the bonnet and scratch as something hit it. We were sooo frustrated and we told them we are not taking the car , they have us a loaner car with no fuel.
Now with the loaner car they gave us it is actually very high in petrol consumption that our car. When we went there this morning to ask for a smaller car since they gave us an SUV , Hedrics the manager gave us attitude saying if we were there to collect our car we were going to put fuel in our car so we shouldn't complain about fuel. My husband than reminded him that our car has fuel and we are using a 1L which is very low in fuel consumption compared to the SUV which is double the amount we use.
They then filled it with R600 which is half a tables**** a tank yet we are travelling to work in NRB.
To us it now feels like we are advertising their cars at our expense and they took the small car that we were using until Friday and they gave us this SUV so that we can fill the petrol price. Please help us solve this issue, we're going take it further
