Company fault on Vehicle caused me an accident!!!!

In 2012 I purchased Ford Figo Ambient 1.4 , in 2013 May I was involved in an accident, the car could not move at all then I was hit by the bus. Fine. In June same year I received a letter to say my vehicle was being recalled because it may have faults, at that time I had already lost my vehicle after the insurance wrote it off. I called Ford to explain that the reason i was involved in an accident was due to the fault on the car, but they refused to badge in. I feel ****** by Ford SA
