Upon popping into Ford Fury Woodmead today, to make a service booking for my vehicle, I was first of all told that I had to wait till the 4th of April 2018 which I understood but needed an earlier booking so I spoke to Scott the Dealer Principal who as always has tried to accommodate me. Scott was very helpful and was willing to book my vehicle in at an earlier date but due to the fact that this is a service for 80 000KM and the vehicle is currently on 80 176KM, I would have to pay out of my own pocket as the vehicle has exceeded the 80 000KM which is when the service plan expires. I have no complaint against Scott as I understand where he is coming from but I do have a complaint against Ford SA. When buying the vehicle you get told about the 80 000KM service plan which is a good selling point but no one tells you or explains to you that the fourth service needs to be done before the vehicle reaches the 80 000KM mark. I bought my vehicle from Ford Fury Woodmead and have been dealing with them for the last two and a half years and no one said to me when I booked the vehicle in for the 60 000KM service that I should ensure that my vehicle gets serviced just before the 80 000KM mark otherwise I will have to pay out of my own pocket. I feel that this is completely ********* and if Ford SA would exercise bare minimum logic, they would realise that Ford sold me an 80 000KM service plan as standard when I bought the vehice but are now cheating me out of what I paid for. That is what it comes down to. Nobody explained or made me sign an agreement where I acknowledged that if I exceed 80 000KM without doing the service, I would forfeit the last service. So Ford SA, are you going to cheat me or are you guys going to honour what was sold to me?
