Break pad goes after only 30 000 km

I have had my Ford Fiesta 1L Ecoboost Titanium for only a year and four months and drove just over 30 000km with it. I am So impressed with my car and have been telling all who wants to listen about the amazing car FORD has produced. BUT I had to replace one of my break pads that was completely worn out. Ford wanted to charge me R4700 for this. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE FOR BREAK PADS TO ONLY LAST 30 000 KM??? and then I have to pay for that??<br> <br> What a dissappointment.
