Brand New Ford Figo with defective brake discs

I bought a 2020 Ford Figo from Ford Pinetown on 24 June 2021 which had only 29km on the odometer. This was practically a brand new car. Surprisingly, the brakes had a vibration on the pedal when app****. I took the car back to the dealership and the service technician reported that the brake discs are damaged and needs to be replaced. I was given back the car to drive it around with defective brake discs while the service advisor informed me that they must wait for Ford SA to approve the replacement of the discs. Why should I be inconvenienced when Ford has sold me a practically brand new car that would not have passed a roadworthy test? The service advisor informed me that this is Ford SA's policy. Had I known about this prior, I would never have purchased a Ford. Ford SA took 5 days to approve a claim on a critical safety part, while I was made to drive around with dangerously defective brakes. After owning vehicles such as Mercedes, BMW, Fortuner, Volvo and Audi, this was my first purchase of a Ford, and will definitely be my last.
