Beware Ford Tourneo's

Our Ford Tourneo, which we bought from Nelspruit Auto and religiously had it serviced by them, has been off the road for 2 weeks now while they try to find out why the alarms keep going off and all the dashboard lights go off & on. 3 weeks prior to this it cost us R31,000 in new parts because they either won't or can't fix them. And a week after that the computer started playing up. It was gone for 4 days, was fixed we thought and then 2 days later started doing the same thing. It's now been with Numbi Ford White River since 3rd August and they still cannot fix the problem. It's apparently quite a common problem and yet Ford still keeps selling the vehicle knowing this. So far we have had to hire in vehicles to the tune of around R30,000 to cover the work we are contracted to do. So in 5 weeks the vehicle, which is only 14 months old and cost almost half a million rand, has cost us over R60,000. Ford Customer Care just keep saying they have to refer it back to the selling dealer but we still have no vehicle & they just fob us off with platitudes
