2 New Ranger's 2 Broken gearboxes!

In December 2016 our company purchased 2 brand new Ford Rangers @ N1-city's Ford dealer in Cape Town. Before the first service @ 20 000km the first Ranger's gearbox broke. After a huge fight from our side the bakkie was repaired under warranty. The second Ranger experienced the exact same problem @ 120 000 km. The vehicle was towed in to the Ford dealership it was purchased from. Approximately 6 months later after various calls and continued follow up and heated debates from our CEO they finally repaired the gearbox @ an exuberant price which we had to pay before receiving the vehicle. It is extremely strange that 2 exact same model rangers have exactly the same problem and it is not a factory fault. In the 6 months waiting for the vehicle we heard of multiple other ranger's same model same problem. Then to crown it all after receiving the vehicle @ close of business yesterday, this morning our CEO used it to go to site and then what...NOTHING. The vehicle was as dead as a corpse. In less than 24 hours. Ford is very eager to sell to you but when it comes to after sales it is non-existant. Everyone just shrugs and we must just pay as it seems Ford believes we have money trees growing in our back yard. We are EXTREMELY dissapointed in FORD SA and want to warn all prospective customers to rather purchase a more reliable brand.
