Unsatisfied

I purchased a vehicle at Ford believing that it was brand new however, I only realized after signing and when the car was delivered that the vehicle was used. The sales agent wasn’t transparent and i believe he took advantage of the fact that I was a first time car “female buyer”.I requested to withdraw the transaction however, I couldn’t because the financing bank had processed the transaction.

I made peace with what happened and learned to love the vehicle. On the 30th of June 2020 , I realized that the disc had expired. I went to the traffic department in a quest to have it renewed. When I arrived at the traffic department I was told I could not renew because the vehicle was due for licensing. I contacted one of the employees at Ford and he advised me to get a road worthy certificate.

On the 3rd of July, I went to Dekra Automotive and paid R451(which I was told would be refunded) to get the certificate. When the assessment was completed at Dekra I was told I could not receive the certificate as there is an unpaid transaction that exists at Polokwane for licensing.

How can they sell me a second hand car (which I thought was brand new) and on top of that not have it licensed?what other problems will I still encounter with regards to this car?
