Take car in for front left wheel bearing and get a car back with a locked right wheel drum
<p>Collected my vehicle from Ford Fury Midrand - New Road on Friday afternoon, to have the car diagnosed and fixed for a <strong>FRONT </strong>humming noise. After eventually getting my keys for a car not fixed because of NO stock, I had trouble reversing the car from the dealership parking area. I contacted Carla and told her that the car was not moving freely and was actually braking itself without me having to use the brake at all. She transfered me to the workshop manager who told me that they did not do any work on the car. I clearly stated to him that I did not bring the car in like that. He re-iterated that they did not do any work on the car, whereby I asked him if I could drive the car in that state whereby he responded <strong>NO. </strong>He drove the car to the lift and attempted to push the car forward and was unable to. Lifting the vehicle up he was able to free wheel all but ONE wheel. The back right wheel was completely locked. I was asked questions: was your handbrake always as loose; did you adjust your handbrake cable - whereby I rep**** that I do not fiddle with mechanical parts of the car. The workshop manager called the technician who proceeded removing the hub and noticed that the brakes have locked as if the handbrake was engaged. Still adamant that I caused the problem, he was now attempting to imply that I was doing hand brake turns with the car. Shortly after implying that he told the technician that one of the "drivers" has obviously yanked up the handbrake whilst reversing the car into the washbay. That statement made it clear that the workshop manager <strong>KNEW </strong>that the workshop staff were driving <strong>CUSTOMER </strong>cars recklessly and was allowing it to happen. I now have a noise coming from the right hand side back wheel under braking which I am NOT happy with after having sent it in for a humming noise from the <strong>FRONT</strong> and getting my car back with <strong>MORE </strong>problems!!</p>
