Really disappointed

I have been trying to let this go but the more I think about it the more it infuriates me and makes me wonder how many more have been victims to such and how many more to come will fall victim to such theft.

I took my car in for service on the 29th of Dec and upon inspection at home I realised 1 of my old phones that I keep in the cabby and my e-cigarette where missing. I then called in to inform them that I had items missing in my vehicle and was told I'd be called the following day with feedback. 2 days went past with no word, I again had to call and ask how far they were with the investigation and was told my items were not found and because the service centre is a public and open place there's no telling who was in my car. What does that even mean? So everyone and anyone had access to my private space?! Yes, I was told to remove all valuables from my car but I overlooked these two and somehow forgot to remove them as I was in a rush, it's not the items I'm that worried about it's more the way things were handled. So it's okay for staff to go through customers things and take what they wish and no disciplinary action is taken. It's all just brushed under the carpet and business continues as usual? This is quite sad and upsetting. I hope in future they figure a way to deal with such unacceptable behaviour.
