Ford approved means nothing

I received my vehicle from Ford Fury Midrand on the 28rd of September 2022. Visually the car was in mint condition. On the 27th of November 2022, my cars check engine light came on and on the 28th of November 2022, my car would not start. When contacting Ford Fury Midrand and speaking to Qaasim, the sales rep that sold us the vehicle, he advised us to bring the vehicle in. We advised Qaasim that the car would not start however he insisted that we get the vehicle to Ford. I managed to get the vehicle to start and took the vehicle to Ford only to be slapped with a bill of R2000 and an additional R1500 for them to check the engine light. I then replaced the battery out my own pocket which seemed to have fixed the issue of the check engine light which it did until the 25th of January 2023 whereby my check engine light not only came on but i kept receiving malfunction errors which would cause my vehicle to go into limp mode whilst driving. When speaking to Qaasim, i was advised that i needed to bring the car in and that they would sort it out. Qaasim assured me tha they would fix my vehicle. everytime i follow up with them they tell me that they are working on my car and investigating the issue with my vehicle. Today i am informed by the head of the second hand department that not only will they not repair my vehicle but that my catalytic converter and maf sensor issues are a result of wear and tear. she then advised that they are willing to reimburse me the amount of the battery which i replaced out of my own pocket but that they will not replace the catalytic converter. So much for ' Ford approved ' when I've had issue after issue while only owning the the car for 3 months
