Taking advantage of young working South Africans
Ford Eastgate/Bruma are sadly not forthcoming and I have had the worst two weeks as a result of their lack of full transparency and misleading phone calls. I towed My car there on Monday and it has been catastrophic ever since. It was my first experience breaking down in the middle of nowhere with my Ford Fiesta Ambiente 2016 1.4, which roughly has 40 000 Km on the clock. I was called by a man called Ronnie Naidoo. he all but just gave me a vague response to my cars issues and immediately told me to fork out 12 228 for my clutch replacement. I had to ascertain and request the cost breakdown to compare with all the other Fords (including Ford Williom Nichol and Woodmead_) They all gave me but a less and lower cost breakdown of the faults.... I was insulted to realise that Mr. Ronnie Naidoo and his team had collectively chosen to be spiteful and include an absurd labor fee.... The only reason I would assume this would be is that they have misplaced my car key and my sister had gone to them on my behalf to drop off the spare key. She obviously made them aware of the inconvenience of a missing key and this seems to have sparked a vendetta against me personally. Ronnie Called this morning to ask whether i'll take the car or they should fix it.... I asked to kindly take it. Few minutes later he calls me to tell me that he can give me a discount to R 9 500... Which is the actual estimate (according t other Fords) . It is both Repugnant and repulsive to establish that this dealership has it's own priorities as opposed to putting that of their customers first. I am a 25 year old Black South African and I find that In would not recommend Ford in it's entirety as they have many grey areas that they would not be transparent about from the offset. Shame on You Ford Bruma. You have lost my faith.
