reselling of worn shoes

bought a pair of hi tech shoes at footgear bellville branch. i only wore them once and they were to tight on my feet and hurt me. so i took them to the n1 city mall branch to change them over only to be told that i cannot exchange them as ive worn them already and they cannot resell them... really resell worn shoes?? now im sitting with a pair of shoes i cant wear. pathetic
