Footgear, the company that has no faith in their own products

<p>On 7/6/2016 we made a purchases of 13 pairs of various running and all terrain shoes from Footgear to the value of R12 679.40. We though that Foorgeat is a reputable stockes of foot wear an hence the big purchase with them. However, not even 9 months later (earlier this week) we took one pair of sneakers back to Footgear with the request to have a look at the shoe and exchange it as it has hardly been worn but the sides are degrading. However, we were told in no uncertain terms by the assistant manager at Footgear Canal Walk that they only guaratee their shoes for six (6) months, yes you hear me correct 6 month, and they cannot exchange the sneakers. Even with us presenting the receipt for the purchace! This is unexecptable as they are stockes of leading brand? Or are these perhaps legal knock-offs that is being sold by Footgear - surely these leading brands don't only guarantee their products for 6 months, so why is Footgear doing it??? An again remember we bought nearly R13000 work of shoes form them, however, that meant nothing to them and will not exchange one of the 13 pairs we bought. Shame on you Footgear!!</p>
