Don't buy Footgear Viva Branded Mens Sneakers they poor quality

On 24 May 2021, I bought two pairs of your mix and match Viva Pen SE7247M Brown/Burgundy mens sneakers for R600 at your Cape Gate, Brackenfell store.

I bought these with the intention of keeping it until I get re-employed because I lost my job due to being retrenched in May 2020.

In August 2021 I was re-employed and started to wear the first pair of sneakers in September 2021. I alternated between my regular office shoes and only wore my sneakers on a Friday to work.

What I came across yesterday is that glue is coming loose from the upper front and side of both shoes. I was going to return both pairs this week, as clearly there seems to be a quality issue in the method it was manufactured.

After taking out the till slip yesterday I saw that the 6 months defective returned period as your policy has lapsed on 24 November 2021.

There is no physical damage to the shoes, as I’m office bound and only wear the sneakers from my car and in around the office. The sole is still in a good condition and does not even show any wear out. I’m still have my other pair which is brand new in the box in my cupboard.

I’m not happy with the quality of the Viva brand if they only seem to last 6 months of infrequent use. This is the first time I bought this brand of shoes and will not be buying or recommend the brand to anyone.

Clearly I have been mislead into thinking Footgear only sells quality merchandise and I will avoid any of your stores in future.
