Bad service

If I could I would give footgear inside promenade mall ,zero stars. I bought a Bronx boot there on the 5th of May. I went to them today ,so that I could get an exchange because I love the boot ,but the whole front part of the boot has come undone and I needed a new pair. I was disappointed as it's a Bronx and when I buy it,it usually last for years. I got to the till and there was a guy helping another girl as she bought a pair of takies for R700. I advised him of the boots and he calls the lady cashier who i then thought was the manager.She tells me that she cannot refund me now because they just dropped money but the guy cashier just took a R700 from the girl 5 minutes ago. She then goes on to say that I should go to the other footgear outside to get the refund or a exchange.I then get sent back to the footgear inside the mall and as I arrive the lady cashier says it must be no longer than 3 months as she was told by her manger that she cannot refund me due to this.Shocked coz I thought she was the manager I advise her that it's only 2 months now and 3 weeks ,so technically I am in my right for a refund.I get to the till and another guy now advises me that he needs to call to more stores when footgear outside the mall already checked and told me there is no boots like mine anymore.He then advises me that it has to be no more than 1 month then I can have a refund ,so as you can see I started to get annoyed because in the span on 2 hours the store policy kept changing to suit them. I am very disappointed as I really wanted this boot and I am now forced to get something I do not want. I bough the boot because it's suppose to be a very good quality,I would no because I have another pair for 6 years now.I will personally never shop at footgear again.
