Worst service at the tills

I was at Food *****s Market, New Market Alberton between 11am and 2pm, Tuesday 1 August with my sister, the overall shopping experience was good until check out time, we went to till 8 to get our goods scanned and to pay.

When we arrived, I greeted her and asked my sister to hand me the shopping bags we had come with, which I then placed on the till and started to offload our items, the cashier then said I needed to place the bags on the left side of the till which I did and I continued to offload, she then continued to scan the items and I then recognised that I was expected to pack the bags myself of which I did and loaded most of the packed bags in our now empty trolley, there were still a few items left on the till that I hadn’t put in bags and the cashier then said to my sister go to the right side of the till gesturing that she must be the one to finish packing these last items.

I would not encourage anyone to shop there if that is the treatment given to customers. This cashier had such a foul attitude from beginning to end of our few minutes with her, I would highly recommend for her to be under management supervision and for more scrutiny to be put in place when allowing her to engage with customers.
