Vegetables are off

We bought sweet potatoes on Sunday 28 August 2022. Tonight when i wanted to use it, it had mold on and was mushy. Not even one week old. What a waste of food and money. i have bought sweet potatoes at Checkers and it lasts me so long. The quality of their fruit and veg is nothing to write home about.
