TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE AT FOOD *****S MARKET MENLYN MALL

Today on the 05th of June 2020 at around 17:40, my husband, younger brother and my three years old daughter we visited Food *****s Market at Menlyn Mall Pretoria... Upon our arrival at the entrance as usual the security guys started by sanitizing my husbands hands, followed by myself, my younger brother and then instead of sanitizing my daughter’s hands, the security guy sanitized my daughter’s eyes... I immediately called him upon that and my daughter was crying as her eyes were burning.... My husband then jumped in trying to speak with the security guy and he was not sorry at all... My hubby then went inside to call the manager and let her know about the incident... To my surprise the manager upon coming outside she defended the security guard saying she doesn’t think that’s how it happened and she was not even there and didn’t even bother to check the footage... Because of my husband being white and the security guard being black, the audience that were present they made it about race defending the security guard... There was a mob that wanted to attack my husband and the manager at food *****s market in Menlyn didn’t even bother to help... We ended up leaving without even going in to buy what we wanted to at that time in moment... Food *****s Market Menlyn Mall Pathetic and ***ard Management System... I certainly do not feel safe going there....
