Sloppy service received

I visited the Food *****’s Cafe at the Newspaper House on St George’s Mall and dished a weighted amount of food as I do weekly. when I got to the cashier, it came to a certain amount and I told Vuyokazi Mdodana (the cashier) that I’d give her coins and pay the balance with my debit card, so o proceeded by emptying my pocket with coins before paying great balance with my debit card. After she (still the cashier) had given me my receipt and awaited my departure for her next customer, I asked for a carrier bag to put my food in, to which I was told it was R0.50. I then told her that I had given her all my coins, and she helplessly shrugged her shoulders. I then asked her why she had not added the carrier bag to my initial bill, to which I was answered “you did not ask for one so how was I supposed to know that you wanted one”. In my opinion, this was a preposterous response.

I was utterly disappointed in the bad service and attitude from Vuyokazi.
