SHELF PRICE DIFFERENCE

I bought Atlantic Battered Hake 2kg of which the shelf price was clearly marked R129.99 my friend was assisting me with my shopping since I am disabled and he confirmed that it was indeed the price, at that price I bought 2 X 2kg packs. When I arrived home and checked my till slip invoice number: 7#243100 the price was at R168.99, a R39 differnce! I called Food *****s Market and requested to speak to the manager, the person who answered said he will call me back in 2 minutes time, eventually I called back after 20 minutes and spoke to the same person, he informed me that we were looking at the wrong price and that the specified item is priced at R168.99, At R168.99 I would have went to Bluff Meats in Victoria road and bought fish there. No apologies were offered which means no refund, I informed him that he had just lost a customer and I will never ever buy anything from that Food *****s Market again, I am totally furious and extremely unhappy. I need to say that the teller at pay point no 7 was a star, she went to get a 7kg bag of onions which we forgot to take as part of their combo deal. As for Management I have absolutely no good word and I will spread the word to everyone I know to avoid Food *****s Market at Scottsville.
