Selling rotten meat and false advertising

<p>Yesterday 20th of May I responded to an ad in our local newspaper. Food *****s Market advertised Chicken Fillets @ R49. 99</p> <p>When I got to the Brackenfell branch I bought 2 large packs. When I got home I saw there was 'almost' more water than meat in the sealed packs.</p> <p>I then saw on the pack it's frozen chicken Fillets. This to start with its unacceptable. The ad did not say pre-frozen chicken fillets. </p> <p>The BIG problem came when I opened the sealed pack. The chicken smelled completely rotten. It was so bad, the entire house selled like that. Food *****s Market, how on earth can you sell rotten meat to customers!!!??? I went back to the branch and they confirmed that the pack the meat themselves. </p> <p>From there things got worst, one lady said I'm not the first customer who brought back the meat BUT THEY STILL SELL THE PACKS!!! Why don't you remove the meat. The one lady was very helpful and said they will replace the pack with fresh chicken fillets. But they guy in charge of the butchery brought me another frozen pack. How do I know that there are rotten meat between tge others. </p> <p>Food *****s Market, something is very concerning for me at that branch. It's not the first time this happened. In the past I bought Food *****s Market cheese. Some of the blocks as very soft. A week or two later (well before the sellby date) when I opened it, it smelled and tasted really bad. I had to throw away 3 of the 6 blocks I bought. </p> <p>I can't see myself trusting any of your products ever again. Unacceptable. </p>
